The package SIMOCRANE CMS V4.4 includes new functions and new optional packages compared to the previous version. The new version SIMATIC WinCC V7.5 SP2 is released for Microsoft Windows 10 (64 bit operating system) as well as for Microsoft Windows Server 2019. It contains improvements related to previous versions and the CMS standard application (provided as an example project). These are important updates for CMS V4.4.
Three packages are available for SIMOCRANE CMS V4.4:
SIMOCRANE CMS V4.4 Lean package, as to be used for crane types in harbor business, mainly for RTG, RMG, ASC as well as for industrial cranes. Other types of cranes can be defined and configured via the CMS application.

SIMOCRANE CMS V4.4 Advanced package, as to be used mainly for crane types in a harbor as with STS and GSU. Other types of cranes can be defined and configured via the CMS application.

SIMOCRANE RCMS V4.4 Connector package is a low cost and easy‑to‑use application mainly developed to perform data transfer to RCMS or MindSphere for applications that don’t have a WinCC installation on the crane. The RCMS Connector application can be connected to any type of crane. For projects requesting the full scope of functions on CMS, it is recommended to use the CMS Lean or CMS Advanced application.

For both SIMOCRANE CMS V4.4 Lean and Advanced packages, the CMS applications have been modified and tuned for the specific crane type, the CMS Lean is provided as an example for an RTG/RMG crane type and CMS Advanced is provided as an example for an STS crane type. Additionally, CMS Lean also contains an application for industrial cranes, including an integrated library that uses OHBC cranes as an example for the project start.
